PM: Veng Sakhon Will Be Appointed as Minister Attached to the Prime Minister

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister of Cambodia stated that today he presented a letter to the King to appoint Veng Sakhon as a Minister Attached to the Prime Minister after being removed from his post as the Minister of Agriculture.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony for students of Phnom Penh International University on Tuesday morning, 11 October, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that he does not abandon anyone, but he also needs those responsible for the agricultural sector to promote the sector’s growth.

Veng Sakhon was removed from his post as the Minister of Agriculture by the King through a Royal Decree on Saturday, 8 October 2022.
